What to Expect

The North Coast of Ireland has some of the most amazing scenery in the whole of Ireland, with the history of the Giants Causeway & those amazing basalt columns or the places made famous by the TV series Game of Thrones. The Causeway Coast pretty much has it all. While on the tour we will shoot pretty much any chance we have. I will be paying very close attention to the weather forecast in order to get you to the best possible places with the best possible light, especially for sunrise  and sunset. This time of the year sunrise is at 6.30am and sunset 7pm. Given such long days, we will shoot sunrise, get breakfast and have some down time before heading out again at about 12 noon until susnet. As all the locations are within a short distance from each other I will always have a plan A, B and C for sunrise and sunset. If we are lucky we may even get to shoot some astrophography if the skies are clear at night, or even better… shoot the Northern Lights!!.

We will spend our entire stay at Ballylinny self catering cottages in Bushmills. We have two cottages booked, all with single occupancy rooms. These cottages are amazing and cosy We will meet at cottages at 2pm on the 27th, check in and then hit the coast for sunset. The worskhop will end at 7pm, after sunset on the 29th. Transportation from Dublin or Meath can be arranged to the workshop at an extra cost of €30, just Email us on bernard@bglandscapetours.ie or call me on 0876560074 for more details.

Please note
We can arrange twin or double rooms should you want to book as friends or a couples

Transportation

Transportation throughout the workshop in our 9 seater mini bus. Our bus comes fully fitted with charging ports to charge phones and cameras.

Joining us in our bus allows you to sit back and relax while we drive from one location to another, it also allows you to interact and get to know the rest of the group.

Weather

Ireland isn’t exactly known for its sunny weather, but what it can be known for is the amazing light, stormy seas and moody clouds. No matter what the weather, you can be sure we are in the right part of the country to capture what ever mood is thrown at us. As the weather is so unpredictable in Ireland its impossible to set out a definite itinerary until we actually start the workshop, I will however be keeping a very very close eye on the weather throughout the day to make sure I get you in the right place, at the right time, for the right light.
