What to Expect
Connemara and parts of Mayo are popular, yet relatively unexplored part of Ireland. During this workshop we will hit the hotspots but we will also explore lesser parts of the West. We will shoot sunrises and sunsets everyday should the weather allow.. Sunrise this time of the year is 5.30am and sunset is 9.50pm. Each morning after sunrise, we will go back to the hotel for breakfast. These will be long days so after breakfast we will have periods of rest to recharge for the days ahead. Weather permitting we should be able for 7/8 hours shooting a day. The workshop will commence at 4pm on the 27th and finish at 1pm on the 29th.
During the day we will also stop for lunch, coffees and cakes. There is some fantastic spots dotted along our routes.
We will spend our entire stay at the Leenane Hotel. Leenane is in the heart of Connemara with many of our locations only 15-20 minutes drive away. Each person will have their own room, which includes breakfast every morning after we shoot sunrise. The hotel is also equipped with a bar and cosy restaurant. I will be there to check us into the hotel at 3pm and the workshop will commence at 4pm so if you can arrive in between those times.
When you book a workshop or tour with us, your booking confirmation email will automatically send you instructions on how to make use of our perfect payment plan to make the cost of the workshop or tour you have booked easier on the pocket.
