What to Expect
We will spend our entire stay in a spacious, clean and cosy B&B (Breakfast not included). We will have the entire place to ourselves with use of a small kitchenette to have cereals, toast, tea and coffee in the mornings. There will be 4 rooms for single occupancy, with en suite, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and plenty of space. We also have one space for sharing with myself in a twin room, male only. The price for sharing with myself is €150 less. The B&B is situated in the centre of Portree, the main town of the Isle of Skye, close to all shops, cafes and pubs.
There will be NO SET itinerary for this trip as I prefer to keep a close eye on weather forecasts throughout the tour to determine our destination and make sure we have the best possible weather that may suit a specific place. I have found in the past that this strategy has worked very well in our favour on many occasions.
We will start and finish the Photo Tour at Glasgow airport. Please be at Glasgow airport no later than 9am on November 24th 2022, from there you will join me in a spacious 9 seater bus for the remainder of the trip. From there we will travel to Skye via Glencoe, getting a few hours shooting here, possibly even sunset depending on conditions. Once we get to Skye we will spend all four nights here at the same accommodation. On Monday the 28th we will shoot sunrise then make our way back to Glasgow Airport via Glencoe and get there for about 8pm, where the tour will finish.
This trip requires a moderate fitness level, The Old Man of Storr is a 45 minute hike and The Fairy Pools are a 30 minute walk.
