What to Expect

Join us for a week of photography paradise on the incerdible Lofoten Islands, Norway. This tour will consist of six nights, self catering accommodation, there is four rooms for single occupancy, and one for sharing, with myself. Single occupancy is €1995, shared occupancy €1850. The cabins are right in the heart of the much loved and picturesque village of Hamnoy. These famous red cabins are at the heart of everything Lofoten has to offer, all you need do is step outside the door and be greeted by some of the best photo compositions in the world. This accommodation is extremely cosy, clean, has amazing cooking facilities, its spacious and very fast wifi.

There will be NO SET itinerary for this trip as I prefer to keep a close eye on weather forecasts throughout the tour to determine our destination and make sure we have the best possible weather that may suit a specific place. In my experience of spending time on the Lofoten Islands, we always took it one day at a time as we were keeping tabs on the weather forecast and it worked a treat. We got some great conditions including amazing sunrises and sunsets most days aswell as 4 nights of jaw dropping northern light displays.

Please Note: Should Covid 19 prevent this workshop from going ahead, we will reschedule or you will be issued with an online voucher for the full amount paid, including deposit. This voucher can be used to book any tour or workshop in the future.

Transportation

You will be transported throughout the tour in a comfortable, spacious 9 seater bus starting and finishing at either Bodø or Lekenes airport, depending when flights are released and we determine where we fly.

Weather

The weather on Lofoten tends to have freezing temperatures and snow around the the end of January. From my six previous trip to Lofoten, we got the most amazing light during the day and then to top it all off, most nights we were out shooting the Northern lights with some EPIC displays. It is very possible we will experience some clear night skies so there is a great chance of some Northern lights with some amazing foreground interest. This promises to be an amazing week of photography in a truly picture perfect part of the world. We hope to see you there…

You will also learn the use of sunrise, sunset & astro planning apps.
