What to Expect

There will be NO SET itinerary for this trip as I prefer to keep a close eye on weather forecasts throughout the tour to determine our destination and make sure we have the best possible weather that may suit a specific place. We will shoot sunrise and sunset on all days while in Slovenia. Locations are all quite close so luckily we wont have to spend hours in the bus from place to place. As sunrise is around 7.30am this time of the year we will be able to shoot sunrise and come back for breakfast at the airbnb or guesthouse, have a few hours break to chill, then heading out for the remainder of the day from aboit midday until sunset, which is at 6pm. We are ideally located to shoot the absolute best of what Slovenia has to offer with amazing hill top churches, spectacular gorges and amazing mountains and waterfalls. Food and drink is NOT very expensive in Slovenia, given we have breakfast included makes it even better. This promises to be a tour not to be missed…

We will base ourselves close to Lake Bled. in either a guesthouse or an airbnb. Regardless of which accommodation is booked, each place booked will be single occupancy.

I will arrive to Ljubljana Airport at 11.40am on the 18th of October. Please be in Ljubljana Airport no later than 12 midday. We will arrive back to the airport at 10.30am on October 23rd.

Note: I have already stayed in this accommodation so I am basing the trip here on my own experience

The weather in Slovenia can be anything from mild, calm weather to cold, snowy weather, so prep is key, although in October it can be quite pleasant with highs of 16/17 degrees C. Warm clothes are a must here, as temperatures can drop suddenly when the sun goes down. A hat, scarf and gloves wouldn’t be a bad idea either just to be sure. This promises to be an amazing week of photography in a such an stunning part of the world. We hope to see you there.

YES YES, The rumours are true… We do have a knack of getting our groups in the right place at the right time, ensuring you capture a truly memorable shot you can cherish for the rest of your life. To us, capturing “the shot” is important but just as important is to enjoy the experience, when we get to a location take a minute to breath in the fresh air and really appreciate the views around us.
