Tenerife Astrophotography Workshop

What to Expect

The plan for this tour will be to shoot the Galactic Core of the Milky Way from 10.30pm until 4/5am each night, this will give us 15-18 hours astro shooting over the three nights. Basically, we can easily get more astrophotography done here, in Tenerife in 3 nights than possibly 3 years in ireland. When we get in from shooting, we can have breakfast at the hotel, before breaking away to get some well earned sleep in our rooms. There is also scope to shoot some sunsets also on this trip should people want to. There will be loads of time to unwind at the hotel pool also, and enjoy the free bar and free food at the restaurant.

During the day, approx 7am-7pm there will be some down time to do as you wish, obviously the hotel has all the facilites I have listed above but close by (within driving distance), as a group if we/you would like to do things e.g. go karting, go to the water parks etc. this can be arranged.

We will spend our entire stay at the 4* Allegro Isora Hotel, Tenerife. Each participant will have their own single occupancy superior apartment for the entire duration of the trip. The hotel is located on the amazing west coast of Tenerife, only 30 minutes from Tenerife South airport & 20 minutes from the big town of Play de Las Americas. All rooms are fully air conditioned.

During our stay in this hotel we have an ALL INCLUSIVE deal so while in the hotel ALL food & SELECTED beer and minerals are FREE OF CHARGE.

The hotel also consists of three swimming pools, which are free to use at your leisure. Other facilites within the hotel include a gym, sauna, tennis court, billards & table tennis.
