Welcome to Bernard Geraghty Landscape Tours
Meet the Team

Bernard
As an introduction, let me explain my journey to you. Photography is a hobby that you can come to at any stage of your life. I personally arrived at this destination in October 2015. I had always been active, played gaelic and soccer, enjoyed my team sports and had relative successes, but felt that I needed a change.
I always had an interest in hiking around Ireland. Until 2015, I never owned a camera so a friend suggested buying one for a hobby and I can honestly say that photography just grabbed me from the moment I took my first shot. It led me on a whirlwind journey around the world with a new appreciation of the wonderful sights around us all.
I live close to the centre of the most beautiful country in the world and I can reach the most fantastic places in less time than it takes most people to commute to work.
Ireland is a stunning country and when I am behind my lens, the camera paints the landscape in the most vivid manner, I never fail to be amazed at the beauty that surrounds us.
Photography allows me to live the dream. I can be alone, at one with the world around me, and yet feel as though I am at the centre of the universe when I capture that split second in time.
Photography is the gift that keeps on giving…
Since starting, I have travelled the world and seen it from both sides of the lens. I have met great people, shared amazing experiences, helped peoples dreams come true and have memories that will last a lifetime, all with like minded people.
And now…as a natural talker, I have combined my hobbies to start a business and as the man behind Bernard Geraghty Landscape Tours, I hope that we can both use this website to stay in touch.
So, whether it’s local or international, close by or far away, I hope that we can tailor a trip for you!!! Click here to view our trips

After being encouraged to take up photography from my brother in law, I bought my first camera in 2013.
My grandfather was legendary Dublin street photographer, Arthur Fields. He took hundred of thousands of photos throughout his 50 year career but no negatives survived. Today his photos are being collated from personal collections in a project to create an alternative photographic archive of a changing city.
Too young to fully appreciate his work and dedication to photography, it has now given me inspiration to carry on in his footsteps and capture an ever changing Ireland.
I love all forms of photography but my passion is landscapes. Ireland’s diversity can be encapsulated in various elements of photography, dynamic light, distinct scenery and changing seasons. They all contribute to the attraction of Ireland which in turn lead to countless opportunities in capturing its beauty. I also love street portraiture and living in Dublin allows me to photograph an ever changing city with true character bringing in different cultures and individuals.
My pursuit of new experiences pushes me to continually improve my vision, while reminding me of the importance of carrying my camera with optimism, curiosity and passion.
Some of our Work
Why book with us?
YES YES, The rumours are true… We do have a knack of getting our groups in the right place at the right time, ensuring you capture a truly memorable shot you can cherish for the rest of your life. To us, capturing “the shot” is important but just as important is to enjoy the experience, when we get to a location take a minute to breath in the fresh air and really appreciate the views around us.
Not convinced?
When you book a trip with us, you get to sit back and relax. while we do all the driving. For our Irish workshops we have our very own Volkswagen 9 seater shuttle bus. The bus is a long wheel base, full air conditioned, extremely spacious and has ample USB charging points. On our tours abroad we also mostly book 9 seater buses and with groups no bigger than 5 or 6, ensures plenty of space and comfort!
Still not convinced?
Thanks to our amazing sponsors Whelan Cameras, 53 Degrees North & Formatt Hitech Camera Filters we have spare equipment like tripods, gore-tex jackets and pants and plenty of spare filter holders, filters and even shower caps to keep the camera dry during showers. All this equipment is readily available on our Irish workshops, should you need anything on an international trip, please just email us here to arrange this.
Our 9 seater shuttle bus

At the start of 2020 we upgraded our bus to this beauty. Our last VW shuttle bus had been a dream for the past few years, but we felt we needed a change. We went bigger, newer, and even more comfortable.
The reasons we choose another VW was for reliability, safety, space and maximum comfort.
We want our clients to have an amazing experience, not just in the field but also going to and from our locations. We feel that having our own bus gives clients the chance to sit back, relax and enjoy our trips. It also gives all the participants a chance to chat and get to know each other as we drive to and from locations, this is hugely important for the atmosphere on the trip.
The bus comes fully equipped with A/C in both the front and back of the bus, there are plenty of USB ports for charging phones and cameras and a huge amount of space for luggage and gear in the boot.
