What to Expect

We will spend our entire stay in a spacious and clean B&B. The accommodation will be shared occupancy (two in each room) or there is single occupancy for €120 extra (Just two single rooms available, first come first served, Just leave a note in the comment part of your booking form if you wish to take one of the single rooms). The B&B is situated in the centre of Portree, the main town of the Isle of Skye, close to all shops, cafes and pubs.

There will be NO SET itinerary for this trip as I prefer to keep a close eye on weather forecasts throughout the tour to determine our destination and make sure we have the best possible weather that may suit a specific place. I have found in the past 18 months that this strategy has worked very well in our favour on many occasions.

Fitness Level:
This trip requires a moderate fitness level, The Old Man of Storr is a 45 minute hike and The Fairy Pools are a 30 minute walk.

Transportation

You will be transported throughout the tour in a comfortable, spacious 9 seater bus starting and finishing at Glasgow airport.

Weather

The weather on the Isle of Skye in November will no doubt be dramatic, we may even have SNOW!!! Weather permitting we will get sunrises (sunrise 8am) and sunsets (susnet 4.15pm) on all days we spend on the Isle of Skye. By night should weather favour us we are just a stones throw from epic dark skies to shoot Astro…and if we’re really lucky, THE NORTHERN LIGHTS!!! On the way to Skye from Glasgow we will stop of to shoot in magical Glencoe and will also get to shoot here on our way back on the Sunday as we won’t be due back in Glasgow until 6pm.
