What to Expect
Join us for a week of photography paradise on the incredible Senja Island, Norway. This tour will consist of seven nights, self catering shared accommodation, right in the wilderness of Senja with no light pollution and amazing compositions on our doorstep. The house consists of 5 bedrooms. This workshop is limited to just 4 people. This insures we all get our own rooms in the cabin/house. The house is as cosy as you can get with warm heating and has a big wood burning stove with unlimited fuel supply. It also has one big bathroom, full cooking facilities, wifi, satellite TV and a cosy living room. Outside in the garden, there is a wooden chalet with beautiful seating and an amazing fire pit which we can cook on. There is also an option to do a one hour hike to the amazing viewpoint overlooking Segla, the most iconic view in all of Senja, you will not be disappointed! This hike is optional.
Please be at Tromsø Airport no later than 11am on the 13th of February 2024, we will arrive back to Tromsø Airport no later than 8.00am on the 20th of February 2024, where the Tour will end.
I would highly recommend flying in one day early and staying in Tromsø the night before the tour commences, this is advised to give us an early start on the 13th for hour 3 hour drive to Senja Island
A non refundable deposit of €650 is required to secure your place on this trip. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 weeks prior to the start date of the trip. Once you book, I will email you my bank details to pay off the remaining balance in your own time.
There will be NO SET itinerary for this trip as I prefer to keep a close eye on weather forecasts throughout the tour to determine our destination and make sure we have the best possible weather that may suit a specific place. In my experience of spending time on the Senja Island, we always took it one day at a time as we were keeping tabs on the weather forecast and it worked a treat. We got some great conditions including amazing sunrises and sunsets most days aswell as 4 nights of jaw dropping northern light displays.
Sunrise this time of the year is 8am, Sunset is 4.30pm.
This promises to be one of the most epic of trips on my calendar for 2024, DO NOT MISS IT.
When you book a workshop or tour with us, your booking confirmation email will automatically send you instructions on how to make use of our perfect payment plan to make the cost of the workshop or tour you have booked easier on the pocket.
