The fitness levels on our workshops are varied, each trip will have its own detailed fitness level description. About 80% of our trips both in Ireland and internationally will suit any fitness level.  The other 20% of trips may suit a good level of fitness.

If you book a trip needing a good level of fitness 3-12 months in advance and feel you may not be fit enough, use the time between booking the trip and when the trip commences to build up fitness levels.

Some trips will involve…

  • Walking for long periods on uneven ground
  • Walking on wet and slippery surfaces
  • Crossing small streams
  • Early starts and late nights
