BOOKINGS DURING COVID19
Book with confidence
If you book a workshop or tour with us during the Covid19 pandemic, you can do so with the confidence that no matter what, if a TRIP cannot go ahead or YOU cannot make it due to international, national or local restrictions you won’t lose money, this includes deposits.
Should the trip not be able to go ahead or you cannot make it, we will reschedule the trip. If the trip cannot be rescheduled, you will be issued with an online voucher for the total amount paid, including your deposit. This online voucher for www.bglandscapetours.ie will have no expiry date.
Please Note: The above terms & conditions are are valid up to 28 days before the trip commences, any changes or cancellations inside the 28 days before the trip commences may result in loss of deposit only, remaining balance will be issued as an online voucher for www.bglandscapetours.ie
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
The tour price quoted in the information pack is subject to change without prior notice. BGLT will confirm all prices before you book your tour. Your tour dossier will indicate what is and what is not included in the tour price.
Deposit: A deposit amounting to 25% (unless otherwise stated) of the total cost of the tour is needed to confirm the tour. On selected tours, deposits may be non-refundable.
Final Payment: The balance is due a minimum of 28 days prior to your departure (unless otherwise stated). For bookings made less than 28 days prior to your departure, payment is required in full.
NEW ZEALAND RESCHEDULING, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
Rescheduling due to Covid 19
Should Covid 19 prevent us from running this workshop in September 2022, we will reschedule for early 2023.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of €1500 will be required to place your booking
Instalment 1: €1050 will need to be paid 6 months out from your workshop starting date
Instalment 2: €1050 will need to be paid 3 months out from your workshop starting date
Instalment 3: €1050 will need to be paid 1 month out from your workshop starting date
Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfer. I will forward details to you at a later date.
Cancelation Policy
If for any reason you need to cancel your booking the below will apply:
If cancellation is more than 3 months out from the workshop starting date – loss of deposit only
If cancellation is less than 3 months out from the workshop starting date – loss of deposit plus loss of 1st Instalment
If cancellation is less than 2 months out from the workshop starting date – loss of deposit, 1st instalment and 50% of 2nd Instalment
If cancellation is less than 1 month out from the workshop date – the full cost of the trip will be lost unless you can find a replacement.
PATAGONIA RESCHEDULING, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
Rescheduling due to Covid 19
Should Covid 19 prevent us from running this workshop in April 2023, we will reschedule for April 2024. Although by this time Covid 19 is unlikely to affect our original dates.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of €1500 will be required to place your booking
Instalment 1: €1000 will need to be paid 6 months out from your workshop starting date
Instalment 2: €1000 will need to be paid 3 months out from your workshop starting date
Instalment 3: €1000 will need to be paid 1 month out from your workshop starting date
Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfer. I will forward details to you at a later date.

CANCELLATION
Only for cancellations made outside 28 days prior to your departure, deposits will be returned less any expenses incurred, unless deposits were stated as non-refundable at the time of booking. Tours cancelled within 28 days prior to departure are not refundable.
INDEMNITY AND LIABILITY
Any tour is potentially hazardous, and all tours may involve crossing rough terrain by foot. It is essential that all lawful directions and advice of the tour operator be followed. BGLT do not accept responsibility for any illness, accident or loss whatsoever incurred in the course of the tour or for any expense from such illness, accident or loss, and this includes any loss of equipment, personal possessions, valuables, bodily injury, illness taking place during any workshop or tour or while taking part in any optional activities.
ALTERATION OF TOURS
BGLT reserves the right to withdraw any tour, eliminate any feature or alter the itinerary, should conditions necessitate.
INSURANCE
It is a booking requirement that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance. This should be done at the time your booking is confirmed and your deposit paid. All participants should be fully insured against accident, all medical eventualities, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment and default. BGLT cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage and personal effects. This should be covered by your travel insurance policy.
HEALTH
All participants must understand that while a high level of fitness is not required, a measure of physical activity is involved in all tours. It is the responsibility of participant to advise us prior to departure of any specific medical conditions. Some tours are at altitude and involve modest hikes. Tours frequently involve travel in remote locations during the day and night, where medical refreshment and toilet facilities are not readily accessible and/or available.
